PB Runtime

To run applications secured with Visual Guard, the PowerBuilder Runtime must be installed on your system.
This runtime provides the required components and libraries needed to launch and operate Visual Guard–protected applications correctly.

Sample Application

Download the Sample Sales PowerBuilder application ZIP file.
Extract the contents to a local folder on your system.
Ensure all files are fully unzipped before proceeding to the next step.

Run the application

Locate the executable file of the Sales PowerBuilder application in the extracted folder.
Double-click the executable file (sales_application_demo.exe) to launch the application.
Ensure the application opens successfully and authenticate with the credentials (admin/pwd) or with the current windows account.

Manage Application Security

Explore Visual Guard security features by modifying settings using the Visual Guard Web Console or Windows Console application.
Update permissions, roles, or security rules to see how protection is applied in real time.
